Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to the Wild
Your journey begins with an early morning pick up from your accommodation in El Nido. After a scenic 40 minute drive north you will reach the small port where your boat awaits. The three hour crossing to Patuyo winds through a maze of emerald islands. Keep an eye out for dolphins, flying fish and even pilot whales that sometimes follow along.
When your feet touch Patuyo’s sand the difference is instant. There are no roads here, no cars and no rush, just the sound of the waves and the jungle. Wander the beach, test the hammocks or take a dip in the warm shallows.
As the sun dips behind the palms giant flying foxes glide overhead on their evening forage.
Then night takes over with a Milky Way so bright it feels close enough to touch.
Day 2: Island Hopping
Start with sunrise or a quiet coffee on the beach. After breakfast we set out by boat to explore Linapacan’s turquoise waters. We will visit Spanish Port’s postcard perfect sands where sea turtles graze in the shallows and venture into Señora Cave on Ile Island where limestone walls rise like cathedral columns.
There is time for snorkelling in a protected marine reserve and a BBQ lunch on a deserted beach before cruising back to Patuyo in the golden light of late afternoon.
Day 3: Fishing, Island Walk & Village Visit
For the early risers join local fishermen for a dawn trip with nets in hand as the horizon turns pink. Back on shore enjoy breakfast before heading out on a guided island walk. You will learn about native plants, spot tropical birds and get a feel for the wilder heart of Patuyo.
By midday a short boat ride takes you to San Miguel town. Stroll past the schoolhouse, tiny shops and basketball court while your guide shares stories of remote island life.
The rest of the day is free for swimming, reading or simply swaying in a hammock.
Day 4: Linapacan by Boat
Spend the day exploring Linapacan by boat. Your skipper will take you to some of the area’s most beautiful spots, whether that means snorkeling vibrant reefs, visiting remote beaches, or simply finding a quiet cove to relax in. Today you are the co-captain and help decide the path.
Enjoy a picnic lunch on the sand before returning to Patuyo in time for another stunning sunset and a fresh dinner under the stars.
Day 5: Island Life at Your Own Pace
After breakfast the day is yours to shape as you wish. You can join one of our guided walks to explore the island’s plants and birdlife or simply enjoy a relaxed day at the beach. Maybe unwind in a hammock and let the calm of Patuyo wash over you.
Day 6: Remote Island Hopping Adventure
Today we go further afield to visit even more of Linapacan’s untouched islands. Expect hidden coves, coral gardens alive with colour and small fishing villages that see few visitors.
A beach BBQ lunch is served between swims before returning to Patuyo in the late afternoon.
Evenings are always special here, but tonight is made for stargazing with almost zero light
pollution to dull the glow of the Milky Way.
Day 7: Your Last Full Day in Paradise
With departure the next day today is all about soaking up the surroundings. You might want to repeat a favourite activity from earlier in the week, join an early morning fishing trip with the local fishermen or snorkel once more at the coral reef nearby. Back at camp you can relax with new friends as the sun slowly sets before we come together for a final shared dinner under the stars.
Day 8: Heading Home
After breakfast we say goodbye to Patuyo and begin the journey back through Linapacan’s island dotted waters. Once ashore a short drive brings you back to El Nido in the afternoon, a little saltier, a little more sun kissed and a lot more connected to what really matters.

Let’s align expectations...
Itineraries
All our itineraries serve as guidelines rather than fixed schedules. We may occasionally adjust activities — either to enhance your experience or due to circumstances beyond our control, such as weather conditions, national holidays, or the unpredictable nature of operating in one of the most remote and off-grid regions of the Philippines.
Atmosphere
We host up to 25 overnight guests across our 7 native-style bungalows. During quieter seasons, you may find yourself sharing the island with just a handful of others or even having the camp almost to yourself. For some, that’s peaceful paradise; for others, it can feel very remote. Just know that the atmosphere shifts with the season. That's part of the experience.
Authenticity
Our wonderful team of local islanders runs this operation with minimal involvement from the management. This to make it as authentic as possible. While our team follows a shared set of guidelines, none of our islanders have formal job-related education, let alone experience in tourism. But what we may lack in training, we make up for in heart and hospitality.
Disembarkation
A short hike before reaching camp! We always aim to disembark as close as possible, but wind and weather may require us to land on the west or south side of the island. In that case, enjoy a scenic 30-minute hike to our place. Our team is on hand to assist along the way.
Delays
While we always aim to follow the showcased itinerary, weather and other unforeseen factors can occasionally cause delays. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you avoid booking any onward flights or long-distance travel on the same day you depart Patuyo. Having a buffer allows for a more relaxed and flexible travel experience.
